Google Different Ad Formats a Way to Generate more Revenues

Google is constantly working on to increase its revenue as well as of clients who use their PPC services. Every ones knows that reading text alone is tire some and boring and same applies to search results where there are high chances of user clicking on image or videos than a normal text link. Hence Google taking a step forward is slowly dishing out ads in various formats to generate revenue which is always good from business point of view.

Google always known for its innovative & creative ideas is experimenting different ad formats like Video ads, Product extensions, location based ads, ads with more links and Comparison ads are few of the recently rolled out formats. These ads are around for 2-3 months now but due to buzz about its ideas, they have now officially written about what they thought when experimenting new ideas.

Actually it’s good that Google has given explanation of what they think, it gives people more understanding about it and tempt them to at least try it. Initially this ad experiments are US specific only, so if you are located in U.S chances are that you might have already come across this ads. Experiment Process is slow so not every one will be able to see new ads even in US as Google always believe in quality over quantity.

Well talking of latest Ad format of Product extension, when search query matches specific keywords the related ads are displayed for that product along with Images, Names, Prices as well as traditional Ad which you are familiar with. One more ad type which I personally like is location based ads which is displayed using Google maps which shows your ad along with contact details which is very interesting as well as interactive.

As per Google official blog there are many more formats which will be experimented, so don’t be surprised if you see some new add format suddenly popped out onto your screen.
